Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation on production efficiency at Jover Mineral Water Factory in Port Sudan, in light of the challenges faced by industrial organizations in improving performance, enhancing competitiveness, and achieving customer satisfaction. The study also sought to examine the role of top management commitment, training and development, employee participation, and continuous improvement in enhancing production efficiency within the organization. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach and the case study method. Questionnaires and personal interviews were used as the main tools for data collection, in addition to secondary sources, including books, previous studies, and scientific reports. The study population consisted of employees of Jover Mineral Water Factory, and the collected data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods to test the study hypotheses. The findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between the implementation of Total Quality Management and the improvement of production efficiency. The results also indicated that top management commitment to TQM principles, the provision of training and development programs, and employee participation in decision-making directly contribute to improving performance, reducing errors and waste, and increasing productivity. Furthermore, the study confirmed that continuous improvement and the application of quality standards play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening the organization's competitive position. The study recommended promoting a culture of Total Quality Management within Sudanese industrial organizations, intensifying training and qualification programs for employees, and ensuring strong support from top management for the implementation of modern quality systems. It also emphasized the importance of adopting continuous improvement strategies to achieve production efficiency and institutional excellence.
