Professor Mohamed Mahdi Bukhari, Director of Elimam Elmahdi University, met this morning in his office with the Director of Zalingei University, Professor Mohamed Ishaq Abdelrahman, accompanied by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Abdel Shafi Mohamed and Dr. Kamal Ibrahim, Secretary for Academic Affairs at Zalingei University
The Director of Elimam Elmahdi University welcomed the Director of Zalingei University and his esteemed delegation, pointing out the university’s commitment to providing all possible support to enhance the educational process and to creating an environment that ensures academic stability for the hosted universities. He explained that hosting a number of universities affected by the war is a national duty toward the students of Sudan.
The meeting discussed a number of issues, foremost among them arrangements to accommodate additional numbers of Zalingei University students, along with several topics that contribute to the development of the educational process and the exchange of expertise between the two universities.
During the same meeting, the Director of Zalingei University expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to all staff of Elimam Elmahdi University for the coordination and cooperation that enabled the hosted universities to continue their academic programs effectively, particularly in medical disciplines, due to the facilities available at Imam Al-Mahdi University, including lecture halls and laboratories. He commended the efforts made to prepare a suitable academic environment, noting that this hosting has positively contributed to easing the backlog of some student cohorts at Zalingei University.
