The Faculty of Nursing Sciences Celebrates International Nurses Day and Welcomes the 28th Batch

The Faculty of Nursing Sciences organized a celebration this morning on the occasion of International Nurses Day, with a large attendance of academics and students. The event coincided with welcoming the students of Batch (28) to the faculty, in an atmosphere filled with friendliness and appreciation for the humanitarian profession and the role of nursing staff in serving the community.
The program included a variety of activities reflecting the importance of the nursing profession and its noble mission, in addition to theatrical performances highlighting the role of students in developing healthcare services and adhering to professional and ethical values throughout their academic and professional journey.
The celebration also witnessed the honoring of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ibtihaj Mukhtar, along with a number of professors and support staff, in recognition of their great efforts in supporting the educational process and contributing to the academic and professional preparation of students, in addition to welcoming the students of the 28th batch.
Several students expressed their gratitude for the continuous dedication of the teaching staff and support personnel in advancing the faculty. The celebration also featured cultural and entertainment segments that showcased students’ talents and strengthened the spirit of cooperation and belonging among the different batches, while reaffirming their commitment to continuing the path of excellence and serving society through the nursing profession.
In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty praised the programs and services provided by the students to their colleagues and the community. She emphasized the importance of celebrating International Nurses Day as an occasion to appreciate the efforts of healthcare workers and to raise awareness of the vital role nursing plays in supporting the healthcare system and providing medical care to all members of society.
