Shariaa and Law College was founded in 1998 according to the agreement of the university council to the idea of establishing the faculty. And then ratified the scientific planning which includes the faculty mission, message, aims, departments, programs, curricula and syllabus. The revision of the academic syllabus was necessitated the developing of its academic program at multiple levels in the bachelor stage also in postgraduate studies. So their graduates can be able of effecting devices through their academic qualification. The faculty is one of the oldest faculties in El-Imam El-Mahdi university.
